NewsMediaBias Blog
News media bias is a fact! The truth is non-partisan, but MEDIA BIAS manipulates your political reactions. John LeBoutillier once described how Hillary controls the media this way: "The so-called Mainstream Media (MSM) - comprising mostly East Coast elitist media institutions, i.e., CBS, ABC, NBC, CNN, New York Times, Washington Post, Newsweek and Time magazine - are staffed with pro-Hillary zealots and acolytes who practice what is now known as "advocacy journalism." In other words, they use their media outposts to preach a leftist political agenda...."

In writing, every word is an opportunity to create an impression; the literal meaning of a word is only one dimension of what it can communicate to a reader; there is also association: what it makes you think of, implication: what it connotes or implies, and many many other dimensions the detailing of which are beyond our present scope.

Our purpose is to reveal media bias as it works, one line at a time.

As to our commentary, please remember that exposing a particular bias, requires pointing to it's opposite perspective. Hence our comments may give an impression of being just as biased as the article being reviewed. Opposite but equal would be the expected impression you should get in reading our side by side. The archive is admittedly overbalanced with examples of liberal bias; they are so prolific! Send me examples and I'll be happy to give conservative bias the same treatment!

Why is recognizing bias so important?

Every day in the mainstream media, we are being handed "Rathers" (half-truths, dressed up as news). There is liberal media bias, but there can be bias in conservative media as well. To develop sound opinions, people must demand fair reporting by the media; concise writing using reason and logic, with no tricks to "spin" us! This means broadening your spectrum of news media sources. Experiment until you find a media combination that works for you. You need to know where to go for a second opinion; it's as important in media as it is for a medical condition!

Spin: deliberate shading of news perception; attempted control of political reaction
